Engineering tools / preliminary selection
Air velocity & pipe size.
Compare the actual flow velocity across the PIPINOX pipe range. Start with your flow basis, line conditions and chosen velocity target.
First listed size within your velocity target

Absolute line pressure:
Velocity at this size:
Preliminary velocity check. Pipe length, fittings, pressure drop, transients and the complete joint rating still require engineering review.
Compare the pipe schedule
Dimensions follow the confirmed 8 October 2026 product list. DN is nominal; the calculation uses inside diameter = outside diameter − 2 × wall thickness.

Calculation basis & limitations
Steady ideal-gas flow, with compressibility factor Z = 1. Absolute pressure and kelvin temperature are used. Qline = Qref × (Pref / Pline) × (Tline / Tref); velocity = Qline / pipe area.
This is a velocity comparison at the entered conditions. It does not calculate pressure loss, a branched network, moisture effects, compressor control, or pressure containment. A size meeting the velocity target is not a final design selection.
