Manufacturing / equipment utilities

Industrial
piping solutions.

Coordinate machine cooling, general water and compressed-air services with production equipment and maintenance access.

Application analysis

Give each production utility a defined route and interface.

Build the utility schedule around each machine: identify the fluid, operating pattern, design conditions and connection dimensions. Keep cooling, general water and compressed air separately identified on the route drawings and part schedule.

Define isolation for each equipment package and production area. Mark measuring points, cleaning and testing boundaries, and the access needed for maintenance. Record equipment vibration and movement requirements alongside the pipework support arrangement.

Automated manufacturing

Connect cooling and pneumatic services to defined machine boundaries.

Equipment skids

Prepare repeatable connections and an identifiable material schedule.

Plant upgrades

Separate new capacity from existing production and service access.

Part-number starting points

Components to review.

Review catalogue dimensions, materials and connection types alongside the service schedule. Add selected part numbers to your enquiry.

Specify the size, pipe outside diameter, material, seal, joining system and tool. Include the intended duty and required product acceptance documents with the enquiry.

Questions worth resolving

Before the specification is fixed.

How should several utilities be coordinated?

Identify each service separately and coordinate routes, supports, clearances and maintenance access on the same installation drawings.

What information is needed at a machine connection?

Record connection dimensions, fluid, flow, pressure, temperature and the equipment requirements for vibration, movement and restraint.

What belongs in a repeat equipment package?

Use a defined interface schedule, part-number list, isolation layout and inspection/test boundary.
