Water services / distribution boundaries

Water Treatment
piping solutions.

Coordinate treatment interfaces and water distribution around chemistry, service zones, sampling and maintenance requirements.

Water-treatment filtration ponds

Application analysis

Give each water stream its own service specification.

Identify raw water, treated water, wash water and dosing chemicals as separate services. Record each stream’s quality range, disinfectants/additives, design conditions and connection points. Mark where treatment or operating responsibility changes.

Locate isolation, sampling and distribution branches on the system drawing. Define the backflow/cross-connection strategy and monitoring requirements with the water-system designer. Include commissioning, service identification and maintenance access in the handover package.

Treated-water distribution

Prepare a material and approval review for the named downstream service.

Plant utilities

Coordinate general water connections to equipment packages.

System extensions

Document new zones, connections and maintenance boundaries.

Concept arrangement / 13

Make the interfaces visible.

Select a review point to inspect the source, controls and distribution of a representative utility module.

Part-number starting points

Components to review.

Review catalogue dimensions, materials and connection types alongside the service schedule. Add selected part numbers to your enquiry.

Specify the size, pipe outside diameter, material, seal, joining system and tool. Include the intended duty and required product acceptance documents with the enquiry.

Questions worth resolving

Before the specification is fixed.

Which water data is needed for selection?

Provide the chemistry range, disinfectants/additives, operating/design conditions and potable or non-potable acceptance requirements.

What belongs in the distribution drawing?

Identify streams, service zones, equipment interfaces, isolation, sampling and the specified cross-connection/backflow controls.

How should dosing lines be specified?

Create a separate chemical-service schedule with composition, concentration, temperature and compatibility requirements for all wetted materials and seals.
