Application analysis

Coordinate water and climate utilities by growing zone.

Schedule crop water, cleaning services and thermal utilities as separate circuits. Identify untreated water, nutrient solutions, dosing chemicals and closed heating water by their actual composition and design conditions.

Define service zones and the boundaries at treatment and climate equipment. Record peak simultaneous demand, isolation, support routes, external exposure and maintenance access. Include fertiliser salts and cleaning agents in the compatibility brief for the relevant circuits.

Greenhouse utility zones

Prepare a clearly identified distribution and isolation concept.

Secondary climate loops

Review water-side connections to heating/cooling equipment.

Water-service extensions

Coordinate treatment interfaces and staged capacity additions.

Part-number starting points

Components to review.

Review catalogue dimensions, materials and connection types alongside the service schedule. Add selected part numbers to your enquiry.

Specify the size, pipe outside diameter, material, seal, joining system and tool. Include the intended duty and required product acceptance documents with the enquiry.

Questions worth resolving

Before the specification is fixed.

What belongs in the zone schedule?

Record the named service, operating sequence, simultaneous demand, required flow/pressure and connection locations for each growing area.

How should irrigation and heating services be documented?

Keep separate fluid, design-condition, material and equipment schedules for the irrigation and heating circuits.

What is needed for a phased extension?

Provide existing/planned zone demand, tie-in points, isolation, treatment interfaces and the operating sequence for each stage.
